He needs a nanny and she want’s a baby. What could go wrong?

Liam Foss has many awards under his belt but the most important one is the little girl who calls him Daddy.

When he posts an ad for a full-time nanny he never expects the sinfully delicious and way too young for him Whitney Sky to show up on his doorstep for an interview.

Whitney Sky has wanted the sweet father of one since the moment she saw him pushing a stroller with an adorable little blue eyed girl in it at the park. She knows better than to fall for someone she can’t have but the vibes Liam’s giving off definitely show he’s interested.

When she lets it slip out that she wants a child but has yet to find the perfect man Liam steps up to the plate. Staking a claim on her and promising to give her a baby and a life she never thought was possible.

My Review:
Liam is a single dad to the lovely adopted Emery. She's a blue eyed, blonde haired little beauty in need of a mommy. Is Whitney the one to take the position?

This was a cute fast read, it being only 110 pages it is very easy to sit down and read it in one sitting. The book is mainly set at Liam's place of residence, but you do get to visit a couple other places along the ride.

I liked the idea of the story and it had good promise but to me the characters fell a little short. I think they needed a little more time to come together and that the book just felt rushed. You get little glimpses of who they are but due to the shortness of the story and the fact that the sex kicks in pretty quickly the book seems more focused on that instead of the characters themselves.

Even with the little issues I found in the book, I still enjoyed the read. I would love to be able to read this again with a little more meat to the story and being able to get to know the characters a little better. I really enjoyed Liam and think he is a total sweetheart. He loves little Emery more than anything and will also do anything for her. That sort of devotion and love can melt even the coldest of hearts.

Whitney was also a nice character, but I feel like she was just a woman who wanted to be taken care of my a man and not have to work in her life. She just graduated college and here she is getting into a relationship with a man who promises her the world even though they don't even know each other. I can't help but want to either say gold digger or call her a spoiled selfish woman. I didn't connect with her as I did Liam.

I loved the HEA that all J.L. Beck's books offer us. It is nice to know that no matter what I read by this woman, that I will always get that. I can't help but smile when her books end knowing the love and happiness that is there at the end!
