HAPPY NEW YEAR TO MY BLOGGING COMMUNITY!!

Happy New Year everyone!!

We made it another year!!

This year has been wonderful! I have done so many things I didn't think possible.

I started up Memory Lane Monday with my best friend, Kristalyn, and her son, Beighley. We have given it up for a little bit due to the work load it put on us, but we still loved it. We will bring it back again soon!!

I also started something called Swag September. It will now be an annual thing where I will be reading nothing but books that I have some type of swag for. I also during Swag September had lots of authors donate books and swag to give away. I had A LOT of giveaways going on that was so much fun to do. This year I hope to have it even bigger and greater than ever. Authors, if you are interested to donate anything this year, be sure to let me know :)

I did something this year that I never thought possible. I only read 48 books in 2013. I was still really proud of that because I never read that much in a year before, but I blew that out of the water in 2014. I read 107 books in 2014. Yes, 107 books. I know that isn't much compared to some of you but I am pretty sure I read more last year than I did the rest of my life. I couldn't believe it. I set my goal for only 60 books but I went over that rather early and had months to keep adding to my total.

I already did most of my goals on my Top Ten Tuesday post for this week, but I will still say some of them here!!

I hope to go to BEA this year.I don't know if it will happen for sure, but I am definitely going to try!!

I am going for 100 books read for this year. I don't know if I will make this either since I had so many things to push me to read more last year, but I should still have those this year to keep me going still!!

I want to say here to all of you, Thank you. You guys have been so supportive of me from the start and I couldn't have done any of this without you. Sometimes when I am in a bit of a reading slump, I think of all of you and how you guys love my reviews and posts, so I get off my butt, go grab me a book and keep going. This usually helps me get out of my slump and gets me determined all over again. You all are wonderful and I would hug each and every one of you if I could!!

I hope you all had a great year as well and we have a great year ahead of us!!

  1. Going to BEA would be awesome. I always see it online every year and think to myself, "I'm gonna go next year". Then next year rolls around and I see it online again. I am not very good at keeping up with upcoming things. I always find out about them as they are happening. I hope you get to go to BEA or at least another bookish function.
    Happy new year,

    1. That is how I have been. I try every year, but I just haven't been able to. I am hoping I can change that this year. If not, like you said, maybe do something bookish at least until I can finally make it to BEA!!

  2. Your goals are so good. I really want to go to BEA but I'm 14 and I have worried parents. If you do go, say hi to all the awesome bloggers for me!

This was such a fun post to read and it made me really happy because you're so festive haha.

    1. understand the parent thing! There is no way my Mom would have let me go at 14. Heck, she is even worried if I go anywhere now and I am 26! I have to call her when I get to work in the morning if it is raining because she worries!!
