Natalie Page is overlooked and unappreciated.
Yeah, sure, she can run fast.
Yeah, sure, all the boys love a buddy.
Yeah, she has plans every weekend night...with her friends and their boyfriends.

It's time for the world to sit up and take notice. When Natalie makes the varsity cross country team, it seems like the fast track to being cool. The popular girls notice her, the hunky captain of the boys team is giving her rides home. Natalie Page is off and running.

Then she starts to fail geometry. She has to get a tutor: a very annoying boy who thinks sports are for idiots. A very smart boy who thinks she's stupid. A very cute boy who already has a girlfriend and has no interest in her. A boy she told her parents she was dating.

Natalie Page can run.
Now she has to decide how to finish.

My Review:
Natalie is a girl who most guys over look. She is a sophomore in high school and has yet to have a boyfriend. All of her friends have one, but all the guys just see her as, well, one of the guys. As she is given a spot on the Varsity cross country team. She tries to find a way to get guys to notice her for once. But just when they start accepting her into their group, she finds out she is failing Geometry. If she doesn't get a tutor, she will be kicked from the team. Now what does she do??

I saw this book on Goodreads years ago. I bought the book, but just like most of my books, it sat on my shelf. I wanted a quick read before I got into re-reading the Twilight series. I saw this one was rather small, so I decided to finally pick it up. I didn't start reading it till about 9 at night and I couldn't stop. it was so good. I was sucked into it and just HAD to know what happened to Natalie. Did she end up with Matt, or does she end up with Zach. That was what I had going through my head. I ended up having to stop myself from reading at 11 that night because I had to work the next day. I took it to work with me and ended up devouring it, re-reading the last couple chapters and sitting there with a grin on my face.

This book was wonderful. It was such a fun and quick read, yet I still enjoyed it very much. She has the pages flow so well, that you just can't stop yourself from saying one more chapter over and over.

I loved the world of it all. It is definitely contemporary, but it is a type that I just haven't read before. It deals with a girl that isn't necessarily popular, but is considered a Jock. Then there is Matt who is a big nerd in all ways, but yet he still warms your heart. There is also Zach, who is the Jock term to a T. He is very arrogant and is used to getting what he wants, no matter what stands in his way. You get to spend the time of the book trying to work out each person and figure out what is going to happen.

It ended pretty well. It was a somewhat open ended ending, but it was still in a way that was logical. You were still able to smile, even if you wished for more at the end.

I recommend this to anyone looking for a light quick read that will leave you smiling for the next few hours after you finish it. It will definitely warm your heart :)

Couldn't Put It Down!!
