Top Ten Tuesday -- Top Ten Books On My Spring 2014 TBR List

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme brought to you at The Broke and the Bookish!! Each week we will be releasing a top ten book related list for you all to enjoy!

This list could be really really long, but I am doing my best to keep it at 10! I have sooooo many books that I wanna read!!

These are not in any order, they are just in the order that I had them pop into my head!!

I definitely don't see me reading all these, but they are on my top of what I want to read. Hopefully I can get atleast half of them read!

Twilight Saga
by Stephanie Meyer

okay, I know you are all probably like why are you having Twilight as an Honorable Mention? Haven't you already read it?

Well yes, I have. I decided to do my top ten as books I haven't read yet, but, in April, Kristalyn over at The Sarcastic Palmtree and I will be re-reading the whole series together. I used to read a book here or there until this series. Once my cousin made me read it, I then loved reading and made my first blog ever. So this series is important to me. It made sense for me to re-read it and Kristalyn has the same love for the series as I do! So it made even more sense to read it together :)

Also keep an eye out for some news from Kristalyn and I, we may or may not have special plans for revisiting old favorites!

  1. The Lunar Chonicles!!! Those are all absolutely amazing books and just keep getting better. Cress, the latest book, was the best of the lot! Marissa incorporates the fairytale elements with her own stories so well :) definitely the best retellings I've read

    1. I've been scared of them because they don't sound the greatest but so many people say how wonderful they are. I was the same way with Hunger Games and I ended up loving them. So I just need to take the leap!

  2. YES YES YES to all of these! I'm so glad you're going to read Cinder - one of my favorite series ever! and PJ... reading the spin-off to that now, can't wait to see what you think. I really want to read Under the Never Sky soon, I own the first two so maybe we'll be reading them around the same time again. Across the Universe is seriously one of my favorite series EVER! I can't wait for you to read that one! :) and OMG BLOODLINES. Amber... seriously... i STILL have a book hangover from The Fiery Heart, and I finished reading it over a week ago. You are going to LOVE IT. Okay. I'm done now, haha. Enjoy your books! TTYL

    1. I am waiting for the next one to come out before I start bloodlines. I heard the cliff hanger is horrible on it and leaves you in a zombie state. I have the first two books in UNS too, I still need to get the last one! and you know Across the Universe is at the top of my list to read!!

    2. Whoever told you that The Fiery Heart leaves you in "a zombie state" was so completely right. I couldn't have said it better myself. I don't know what I'm going to do when I read the one that comes out in July then have to wait an entire year for the next one, UGH.

  3. I need to read literally all of these! I've read the first of the Shatter Me and Legend trilogies however need to catch up with the rest of the series, and the other books you've mentioned are almost all on my TBR list at some point :) I definitely need to read Cress and cannot wait! Great list :)

  4. Nice! I need to finish the Shatter Me series myself. Read book 1, so it's a start! Loooove Bloodlines!

Under the Never Sky and Alienated are ones I am debating over myself! Just added 2 debated series to my TBR mountain so it might have to wait a bit before I go adding 2 more!

    Here's my Tuesday post

    Have a GREAT day!

  5. Great list! I love The Lunar Chronicles and the Percy Jackson series! I hope you like them. I've been talking with some fellow bloggers about doing a Maze Runner readalong next month. If you're reading it you should totally join us. We're probably going to post our reviews the same day and do a twitter chat. Let me know if you're interested.

    1. I am going to be reading Twilight next month, but I might be able to squeeze in the Maze Runner between the books!

  6. I binge-read The Lunar Chronicle books last month, and it was a great experience. Vampire Academy is lots of fun, and the Legend series are some of my favorite dystopias. UTNS was just OK for me, and the appeal of Shatter Me is a total mystery. But I'm in the minority on those, so hopefully you will have better luck. Enjoy!

  8. The Lunar Chronicles is amazing! I hope you love it! The Percy Jackson books are great too. Ah, Twilight, I think I've read the first book five or six times. I'm not actually quite sure because I lost count somewhere along the way.
