Feature and Follow Friday #27

Hey guys, this is my Feature and Follow Friday post! This post is hosted by two different blogs, Parajunkee and Alison Can Read! This meme is here for everyone to be able to get their blog out there and get more followers!! Links are below for you to look at others, follow them, and link your own blog!

Question:
What was the last book that made you cry?

Answer:

Allegiant by Veronica Roth

I bawled like a baby at the end of it. I'm such a wimp!

Next week's question:

Change the Plot. If you could, what book would you change the ending or a plot thread? Go ahead and do it...change it.

    1. the ending was so sad, and usually I wouldn't like sad endings, but for me it actually worked for this book. But just have a box of tissues, you will most likely need it. It is worth it though, definitely read it :)

  3. I have Divergent but I still haven't read it yet. And most people say the ending is sad.

    1. It was very sad, but at the same time, it worked really well for the ending. It is the first book that didn't have a super happy ending and I still loved it. Though I would have loved a happy ending too!

    1. I'm a softy too, but it is so worth the read. I cry in a lot of books, but there is few books that make me "ugly cry" as a friend calls it. This was one of them. I think 5 books my whole life have ever made me cry this hard.

heading to your blog now :)

  5. I am definitely with you! I may not have loved the book as a whole, but it would be near impossible to not tear up at that ending! (or ok. Impossible for me. Because I cry over EVERYTHING.)

    1. I tried so hard not to cry, but at the zipline thing, I lost it. I couldn't hold it back no more. I had to put the book down to cry a little, then try to finish it, but I just cried some more. It was aweful. I was hoping for a happy ending, but this ending wasn't so bad. It definitely destroys you.

    1. as a whole of the book I kind of wanted more closer, but not the way she closed it. But I did cry because of the pain that happened to many at the end of the book.

    1. It was very slow for a while and a little weird with the double narrator thing going on. But once you get towards the end, you find out the dual point of view works and then that is what is going to destroy you in the end and make you cry if you ever decide to pick it up again!

  10. I cried at the end of Allegiant too, not because I was overly upset by the way it ended, but I was truly sad for a particular character's reaction to what happened.

    1. that is exactly it for me. The zipline....that destroyed me. I did so good up until then, forcing myself not to cry, but that moment, I lost it.

    1. I did the cry that makes you not leave the house because you don't want anyone to see your face for a few hours after you are done. Poor Teejay is all I have to say, he had to look at me all puffy faced and red.

  16. Ah Allegiant, Allegiant. I'm trying to decide whether to think it frustrating or brilliant.

    1. I am going to say it is tied between both of them. It was brilliant and frustrating. I still think about the ending for the book, weeks after I finished it.

    1. It will break your heart, destroy you, and destroy you some more, but....you will feel refreshed about your outlook on life and where you are heading. I love fiction books that can still make you get those messages.
