Top Ten Tuesday -- Top Ten Best/Worst Series Enders

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme brought to you at The Broke and the Bookish!! Each week we will be releasing a top ten book related list for you all to enjoy!

I have only read so many series so far, so I am going to go ahead and just do 5 this week since I don't want to say all of them are best/worst!

Keep in mind these are my opinions!

Top Ten Five Best/Worst Series Enders

1. Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins -- I loved this trilogy, but when the ending came around I was like "Seriously, WTF was that" I am glad I got some closure on what happened, but I feel like she just farted it onto the pages instead of giving it a proper ending.

Destined (Wings, #4)Fifty Shades Freed (Fifty Shades, #3)

2. Destined by Aprilynne Pike -- I loved and hated this series. I hated some of the characters in it and was a major fan of another character. So through all 4 books I was like come on Laurel use your head! But then the ending came and I had to re-read it a few times because I loved it so much!

3. Fifty Shades Freed by E.L. James -- I know a lot of you hated this trilogy or refuse to read it. I was pressure into it by my family, but I don't regret. I enjoyed all of the books, but I loved watching the characters grow and how it all ended. I was very satisfied with how it ended.
Breaking Dawn (Twilight, #4)Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Harry Potter, #7)

4. Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer -- Another series a lot of you hated, but I also really enjoyed this one. And weirdly enough my cousin talked me into reading these. I hated New Moon but that is because I don't like Jacob, I am Team Edward all the way. But I loved the ending of this book how it was so traumatic and so much going on but it worked for the book.
5. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling -- There are really no words for this series. There was so much action through all of them, but the way she ended it. Fantastic! I know I don't need to say anything else but that, you all understand!

Well, that's my list for the week! Hope you all enjoy!

  1. I can't agree with you on Breaking Dawn i'm afraid, i was so disappointed with the majority of the book. I can agree on Mockingjay though, i mean what was she thinking? The last pages seem so rushed and the book just doesn't have the same depth and intrigue as the two before. It was just a big disappointment :(

  2. Great list! I agree with you on Mockingjay! I felt that there could have been such a better ending!

  3. Nice! Seeing mixed love/hate for Mockingjay and Breaking Dawn!

Of course lots of people have had the love for Harry! Great list!

    Here's my Tuesday Post

    Have a GREAT day!

  4. It makes me sad to see Mockingjay make the worst on so many of these posts (even though I agree). I wish it had been better. I didn't like Breaking Dawn much, but I still liked the series overall.

Comments are loved and appreciated :) Thanks in advance!!
