Top Ten Tuesday--Top Ten Books I Would Love To See As A Movie/TV Show

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme brought to you at The Broke and the Bookish!! Each week we will be releasing a top ten book related list for you all to enjoy!

There are so many books out there that I would love to see as a movie or TV show. I like movies though, so I am just going to put all of them as movies :) There are some movies I would have loved to add here, but sadly they are already movies or being filmed right now to be a movie! So I'm going to avoid those. Plus it also said set in a perfect world where they don't ruin the movie, which is a plus!!
Top Ten Books I Would Love To See As A Movie
(set in a perfect which movies don't butcher the books we love.)

Wings (Wings, #1)Hush, Hush (Hush, Hush, #1)
1. Wings by Aprilynne Pike -- I absolutely LOVE this series. A lot of people say that it was just okay for them, but I love it. I would love to be able to see Tamani and the rest of the characters and get my faerie on!
2. Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick -- I enjoyed this series. I liked the whole fallen angel thing that goes on in the series, and I have to admit, Patch sounds pretty cute.
City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1)The Selection (The Selection, #1)
3. The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare -- I know this is a movie already, but to me, the whole thing was horrible. I want it to be redone with characters that act better, look better, and the whole scenes actually being a part of the book. not what they did with it. So I want a re-do!
4. The Selection by Kiera Cass -- This series is Amazing! I heard mixed reviews on it, but I really enjoyed it and can't wait for the last book to come out. I think it would be really neat to see this as a movie!
Anna and the French Kiss (Anna and the French Kiss, #1)Beautiful Disaster (Beautiful, #1)
5. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins -- I'm hesitant to add this only because I don't know if they could ever find the perfect guy for Etienne. I LOVE him and want him done right. If I know he will be true to himself in the movie, I wouldn't hesitate to watch it!
6. Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire -- This book is great. there is also so much that goes on within the book with different scenes and a lot of stuff to keep you on your toes. Would be a great movie!
Tithe (Modern Faerie Tales, #1)All I Need
7. Tithe by Holly Black -- Holly already has her Spiderwick Chronicles out as a movie and they did a wonderful job. I would love to be able to see this more grown up version of it. Plus, you guys know me, I love my faeries!
8. All I Need by Susane Colasanti -- I just got done reading this and it was such a cute story. I think it would be a nice summery movie to watch when you need a little romance.
Our SongEvermore (The Immortals, #1)
9. Our Song by Jordanna Fraiberg -- I love Jordanna's books. This book has so much going on it, with emotions and growing up. I think it would be good for teens to watch as well as adults. It has great meaning behind it all. Plus the romance... :)
10. Evermore by Alyson Noel -- I like the idea of being immortal and the terms that come along with it. I think if they could do this movie right, so many would flock to go see it. I loved the series and I would love to watch it on the screen!

Well, that's my list for the week! Hope you all enjoy!

  1. Susane Colsanti's books would all make such great little movies - perfect for a night in with the girls! I haven't read All I Need yet, but I'm pretty sure it'd be just as cute as all her others.

Definitely agree with Hush, Hush too. HELLO PATCH! ;)

  2. I would love to see Tithe as a movie or TV show! I know they tried to make The Selection one, but it got turned down. Maybe soon!

As far as City of Bones goes, that's why we need a Book Slapper.

  3. I also put Tithe on my list :) They tried (and failed) twice to make The Selection a TV show, which I think is a shame because I believe it could have been great.
