Top Ten Tuesday -- Top Ten Best Sequels Ever

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme brought to you at The Broke and the Bookish!! Each week we will be releasing a top ten book related list for you all to enjoy!

I haven't read many books with just a sequel that goes along with it weirdly enough. I have some of the first books on my shelf but have yet to read them mainly because I don't have the next one yet. So I am going to say best sequels or next book in a series for my list this week.

Top Ten Best Sequels Ever

Catching Fire (The Hunger Games, #2)Breaking Dawn (Twilight, #4)

1. Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins -- I loved this entire series, but to me, the Catching Fire really did a wonderful job catching the essence of the first book.

2. Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer -- I'm a sucker for romance, and as I hated New Moon I loved Eclipse, but I like how it all came together perfectly for me in the final book I had to put this book on my list.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Harry Potter, #4)Destined (Wings, #4)

3. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling -- I could have picked any of her books for this, but I love how she wraps things up with the Sirius Black problem from book three and all the problems with the tournament. So I decided to list this one for the week.

4. Destined by Aprilynne Pike -- I loved this series, and as with Twilight, I hated parts of this book because I hated David throughout the series, I know he didn't necessarily do anything wrong, but I was just a Tamani fan, so I hated when David was around, so when everything was wrapped up in this last book, I was re-reading parts over and over again.

The Elite (The Selection, #2)Lola and the Boy Next Door (Anna and the French Kiss, #2)

5. The Elite by Kiera Cass -- A lot of people said this wasn't as good as the first book, but I definitely think it is tied with the first book. I loved both of them so much and I can't wait for the last one to come out, it's so far away. But I love how she continued with it and I think she did a wonderful job.

6. Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins -- I know this is technically different main characters, but I love how she has Anna and Etienne in this book as well, and not as just random people, they play their part. You also get to know how some things end up from the first book. I loved it very much.

City of Glass (The Mortal Instruments, #3)Fifty Shades Freed (Fifty Shades, #3)

7. City of Glass by Cassandra Clare -- I loved the whole series, and I am sure when book 6 comes out it will be my next favorite, but for now I think book three of this series is my favorite. I like how she ended it in a way that it could have been a series ending right there, everything wrapped up nicely for me. I'm a sucker for wanting certain people together, and when it happens I just want it to end so it doesn't get messed up. That is how this ending was for me :)

8. Fifty Shades Freed by E.L. James -- I know a lot of you also hated these books, or aren't old enough to read them, but I very much enjoyed them. My boyfriend laughed at me while I read them but I didn't care. I was sucked into the pages. I loved this last book because of all the books there was always something going on, some sort of problem, so to see it all wrap up was really nice. I had a book hangover once these were done.

Walking Disaster (Beautiful, #2)Silence (Hush, Hush, #3)

9. Walking Disaster by Jamie McGuire -- This is the point of view of Travis instead of Abby and I loved it. I think I even liked it more than the first book. I loved seeing how tormented he is and how he overcomes things throughout the book. I felt all his emotions and was cheering for him the whole time. Wonderful book :)

10. Silence by Becca Fitpatrick -- Book two was good but made me mad because of things that happened in the book. I'm trying not to say too much and spoil things, but the third book starts off with a major twist and you fall in love with the characters and the series all over again. I LOVE Patch and was so happy to see how this book turned out!

Well, that's my list for the week! Hope you all enjoy!
