Pick-A-Book Thursday #14

Pick-A-Book Thursday is a weekly meme brought you by me :) It is here for all of us to get our to be read piles down a little and help us get to the books we really want to read but just never got around to them. We can sit here weekly and talk about books we pulled from our jars or those that don't have jars, those who picked one off their shelf! Click here for the Original post for more details!

What book did you pull from your To-Be-Read Book Jar?

* The first book I pulled was City of Bones by Cassandra Clare, but since I just got done reading that whole series, I put the entry into the To-Be-Re-Read Jar and pulled another one.

My next pull was...

Looking for Alaska by John Green

I've read only The Fault in our Stars by John. I have been watching him for years though on Vlogbrothers with his brother, Hank. I've been wanting to read more by him and now I get to with this pick! I am very excited!

Look below for the synopsis and pic on the book!

Looking for Alaska

Looking for Alaska
By John Green

Goodreads | Amazon

Before. Miles "Pudge" Halter's whole existence has been one big nonevent, and his obsession with famous last words has only made him crave the "Great Perhaps" (Fran├žois Rabelais, poet) even more. Then he heads off to the sometimes crazy, possibly unstable, and anything-but-boring world of Culver Creek Boarding School, and his life becomes the opposite of safe. Because down the hall is Alaska Young. The gorgeous, clever, funny, sexy, self-destructive, screwed-up, and utterly fascinating Alaska Young, who is an event unto herself. She pulls Pudge into her world, launches him into the Great Perhaps, and steals his heart.

After. Nothing is ever the same.
