Top Ten Tuesday -- Top Ten Most Memorable Secondary Characters

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme brought to you at The Broke and the Bookish!! Each week we will be releasing a top ten book related list for you all to enjoy!

I have had a lot of these Top Tens that have actually be a decent amount of work. I like it though. I got to go through my bookshelf and try to think of characters within the stories that could use some more spotlight :)

Top Ten Most Memorable Secondary Characters

1. The Weasley Family -- Harry Potter

I LOVE the Weasley Family. I know they were a decent part of the series but they were still on the side lines for most of it. It was mainly Harry, Ron, and Hermione and then a little rest of the Weasley's here or there. I feel they deserve more spotlight!

2. Rue -- The Hunger Games

She was such a big part of what helped Katniss throughout the games. Peeta was there, but Rue still had a big impact on the story throughout all of it.

3. Dobby -- Harry Potter

What isn't there to love about Dobby. He came through even in times when you weren't sure he was on the good side or the bad side. I think he was honorable and I loved his character very much.

4. Magnus -- The Mortal Instruments

He may be the high warlock of Brooklyn, but he was still over shadowed through most of the books. He has a small role, but a lot of the characters wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Magnus. The book went on because of the things Magnus did for everyone.

5. Charlie Swan -- Twilight Saga

I felt so bad for Charlie. The love for his daughter was amazing. He was shy and scared to lose her but still was there for her in his own way. The pain anytime he thought he lost her or was going to lose her could bring a tear to your eyes.

6. Isaac -- The Fault in Our Stars

He was a big friend to Augustus, but Augustus got all the spotlight. You get to know parts on how he does but you never really find out any of his story throughout the book. I still think Isaac was there for Augustus as well as Hazel through most of the book and even after the story keeps going even if the pages don't.

7. America -- Beautiful Disaster

I have read a lot of books that happen to have best friends that are important to the characters but you never fully find out how their friendships were before. America is one of those. She is put on the side a lot as just the protective best friend.

8. Corny -- Modern Faerie Tales

Corny goes through a lot throughout the books, but you never really get to hear from him what it was all like to him. You don't feel his emotions or what really goes on when he finally get attention for another male. He sticks next to Kaye through all of it and it is so nice to see it all.

9. Simon -- Mortal Instruments

No matter what, Simon is always there. I know he is a main character but he isn't fully showcased still. I wish I could get into his head more about all that is going on with not just Clary, but Jace, Isabelle, and the whole world that he is discovering. He is a wonderful best friend and I love that about him.

10. Rashmi -- Anna and the French Kiss

She has been around for most of the book and even though she was put aside a lot she had some parts that made a big impact on Anna as well as Etienne. She helped a lot more than is let on.

Well, that's my list for the week! Hope you all enjoy!
