Emilia King is entering her senior year at Santa Barbara University. For the past three years, she lived in the library – doing what she knows best – focusing on her studies and forgetting her past…a past that has forever changed her life. But this year marks a new beginning…

Logan Prescott is not only the hottest guy on campus, he’s heir to a billionaire hotel fortune. Emilia knows he’s trouble and should stay clear of him. But his notorious good looks and piercing blue eyes make him simply irresistible – especially when he’s quoting her favorite literary works.

Intrigued by Emilia’s innocence and resistance to his charm, Logan discovers she’s a challenge he simply can’t resist. Getting involved with him is dangerous, but running from him may be impossible.

My Review:

Running from Romeo is about a girl Emilia who is entering her senior year of college. She is the girl who is usually spending most of her time in the library and not really the partying type, her roommate Bryn on the other hand is the exact opposite. Emilia makes a promise to Bryn to try to go out more and enjoy her last year in college. This is where Logan comes in, he is the man whore of all the boys at the college. He is known for his reputation. He gives up all of that once his eyes see Emilia ... or does he?

This book had me sucked in. I was not in a rush to read it, but it sounded good when I was offered it for review. I have some other reads I have to do so I decided to move this one up so it got the time it deserved. I am very glad for that.

I hate to compare this book to another book, but just to help you understand the writing style and flow of this book, I would have to say it is a lot like Beautiful Disaster. The good girl runs into the bad boy and they both begin to change and find things out about each other that they never expected before. There is definite sexual chemistry and frustration but all of it is very long and drawn out like in Beautiful Disaster. Sorry again to compare it, but I want you all to understand it a little better :)

I LOVED the writing style in this. I was hooked and definitely cheering Logan on. He changed so much from the beginning yet still kept his quirks that make him so lovable throughout the book. Sometimes you are like EMILIA WHY!! I loved watching all of the past that comes out of both of these characters to let them show you why they are the way they are. At times you don't really understand because you just hear things like "all you've been through" a lot by Emilia's best friend as well as father. Once you find everything out it all makes sense though you get little clues along the way.

I loved the book from start to finish even with the curve ball of an ending. The author I have to admit made me want to throw the iPad that I was reading this book on because of the way it was ended. It is definitely set up for the sequel to the book that I need to devour like yesterday. I can't wait for it to come out so I can finally figure out how the story ends.

Loved It!!
