Top Ten Tuesday -- Top Ten Authors Who Deserve More Recognition

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme brought to you at The Broke and the Bookish!! Each week we will be releasing a top ten book related list for you all to enjoy!
This week appears to be a difficult one. We need to do our top ten this week in authors who deserve more recognition. I have so many people that I love to read, but not all of them I can remember who they are to put them on the list! But here goes nothing...I'm sure gonna try!
Holding On and Letting Go (The Ties That Bind Us, #1)Forever
1. Kelly Coleman -- She is an indie author and I got to be one to help promote her book. I devoured it. It is a book that will make you cry, but it was still so good. She is definitely in my top authors list!
2. Judy Blume -- She has a few books out, but forever... is the last book I read by her. It was really good and really lets you see how it really is for teens. She wrote most of her books back in the 70s but they are still amazing.
Are U 4 Real?In Your Room
3. Sara Kadefors -- I read this book years ago and I really liked it. I went through a phase where I talked to people mainly through online, so this book kinda went straight to my heart. I haven't really seen anyone ever mention this book and it makes me sad. It deserves more recognition.
4. Jordanna Fraiberg -- I have read both of her books and they are amazing. Most have heard of her new book Our Song but haven't read it yet, but she also wrote another book that is so good too! She doesn't have as much hype on her as she deserves.
Wings (Wings, #1)Peaches (Peaches, #1)
5. Aprilynne Pike -- this is another series that I know a lot of you have seen around but either haven't picked up or kind of gave up after the first book. It is a slower series, but the slowness is needed for the end to come together which is amazing and action packed. I think she deserves more love for this series than she has gotten. I will stay strong with this series!
6. Jodi Lynn Anderson -- I read this book back in like 2005 when I was drawn to it for the cover, which the cover above is the new one, not the one I was drawn to. I wanted to let you guys see the new one though so you can find it if you want it. I didn't read much back then, but I still went to the library a lot, I still loved looking at books, but I was so picky with them. I had to try this book and I devoured it. I thought it was a standalone at the time, but it turns out to be a trilogy that I read and loved. Most don't even know who she is and that makes me sad, so here I am trying to help her out!!
When in Doubt, Add ButterLast Bite: A Novel of Culinary Romance
7. Beth Harbison -- this is another book that proves my cover snobness. I never heard of this book or author before, but I was walking through my bookstore and saw it out. The cupcakes, I had to check out what they were about. The story sounded good so I asked for this for Christmas. I was excited that I got it. It is considered an adult book but I think even younger can enjoy it. It has cooking in it which I love to have both cooking and love in a book. I haven't read her other books yet, but based on this book, I know I will!
8. Nancy Verde Barr -- I read this book my senior year of high school, it being another adult book, but heck, it has a fork and cherries on it, I figured it had cooking in it, and I was right. I plowed through this book and I still keep waiting that she will make more books, but sadly she hasn't :( But she definitely needs to be known for this book!
The SirenItalian for Beginners
9. Kiera Cass -- okay, hear me out on this one. I know all of you know and love The Selection she wrote, but... most of you don't know about this book of hers. I believe she self published this book years ago. I was one of the lucky ones that was offered an ARC of it and I loved it. It is kind of mermaid ish, but in a good way that I haven't read anything like it before. I wish she got more recognition for this book and not just her recent books.
10. Kristin Harmel -- I've learned over the years, I love books set in France and Italy. This book falls into Italy. I love seeing the struggles that people have and they go for a vacation and their life falls together in ways it needs to. This book was so good and I keep wanting to go to Europe more and more because of them! I hope all of you look into this romance and give it a chance! It is very much worth it!
Well, there is my list this week!
