My Review: First thing I must say about this book is....sorry Suzanne, but your synopsis on the back of the book doesn't give any justice for your book!

I avoided reading this book for years. To me, I hated the synopsis and thought it didn't sound worth reading. So many other bloggers and friends told me how good it was, but I still had my reserves for it.

I finally gave in and bought the book on my kindle. All I can say is, I wish I didn't wait so long to read it. I flew through the book. I had my kindle in my face until I was able to finish it and then rushed to buy the other two books in the trilogy as well.

The writing style is wonderful and Suzanne does such a wonderful job of pulling you into the story. You feel like you are there either as Katniss or by her side, whichever view you decide to take as you read through the book. The characters are well described and make you love them as people. Suzanne does a great job of making you have emotions throughout the book. You experience anger, happiness, sadness, confusion and more as you make your way through the book. You never know what is going to happen next, that is a great type of book to read :)

There isn't much I can say about the book itself and the story without giving away too much about the book that hasn't already been said in the synopsis. I do apologize for that.

As I have also heard before, to you, I say "read this book". Take it from me who didn't want to read it and just give in to it. It will be one of the best decisions you make :)
